The seminar allows students to go deeper in the analysis of a period of old Hungarian literature to understand its language, social, historical and philosophical background and to recognize changes in genre history by discussing certain influential authors and their characteristic works, genres, discourses or phenomena of a narrower literary historical era within old Hungarian literature.
