GRE-003 GREEK LANGUAGE III en
Description
The course “Greek Language for foreign students, 3rd Semester” (level C1.2), students will be introduced to scientific articles adapted for non-academic readers as well as scientific and research articles.
Upon the successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
• recognize structural patterns of academic speech
• write references and compose bibliography
• recognize and use elements of morphology and syntax found in academic language such as learned participles, learned prepositions coming from Ancient Greek, formulaic phrases or expressions, formation of derivative and compound nouns with learned prepositions and learned word prefixes and suffixes from Ancient Greek, style differences of active and passive voice.
